Castro Valley had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They had to suffer through a 51-19 loss at the hands of the Livermore Cowboys. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 659th, while the Cowboys are ranked 282nd).

Castro Valley didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 35-19 loss against Foothill on the 5th. As for Livermore, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 30-27 win against Sacramento on the 5th.
