Jersey Shore posted their closest win since March 31st on Thursday. They skirted past the Shikellamy Braves 5-4. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Braves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.
Landyn Rhea looked comfortable as he tossed 3.2 innings while giving up just two earned runs off two hits.
On the hitting side, Collin Berguson was excellent, going 2-for-3 with one home run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024. Carter Rhinehart was another key player, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.
Jersey Shore's record is now 7-5. As for Shikellamy, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 2-10.
