While Sacred Heart's victory against Resurrection Catholic wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Crusaders had just enough and edged out the Eagles 11-10. Winning may never get old, but the Crusaders sure are getting used to it with their tenth in a row.

Sacred Heart got a massive performance out of Darren Brown, who scored three runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. That's the most runs Brown has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kyron Murphy, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Sacred Heart pushed their record up to 18-7 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 6 runs. As for Resurrection Catholic, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Sacred Heart will challenge Moss Point at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Resurrection Catholic, they will take on East Marion at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
