Soccer Recap: Banneker Comes Up Short

Banneker lost against Langston Hughes back in February of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Banneker Trojans came up short against the Langston Hughes Panthers, falling 10-0. The defeat leaves the Trojans still looking for their first win of the season.

Banneker's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Langston Hughes, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Banneker will host Morrow at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Banneker will be up against Morrow's rather soft defense (which has allowed eight goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Langston Hughes, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Langston Hughes duke it out with Newnan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
