The Alhambra Bulldogs's game last Thursday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. Their defense stepped up to hand Miramonte a 2-0 shutout. This was payback for Alhambra, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Alhambra's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-8-2. As for Miramonte, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10-1.
Alhambra didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next match, a 5-1 defeat vs. Clayton Valley Charter on the 8th. Miramonte has also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Ygnacio Valley on the 8th.
