Baseball Recap: Sharon Takes a Loss

Sharon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Milford Scarlet Hawks, falling 8-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Scarlet Hawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 4-1 back in April.

Sharon's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Milford, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 9-13 record this season.

Sharon wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 10-4 victory against Brockton on the 26th. As for Milford, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 win against Hopedale on the 25th.
