Football Game Preview: River Ridge Wildcats vs. Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions

The River Ridge Wildcats will venture away from home to take on the Harvest-Westminster Warrior-Lions at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. River Ridge has given up an average of 43.7 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

River Ridge is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Polo, who was ranked seventh at the time (River Ridge was ranked 23rd). The Wildcats were beaten by the Marcos 50-8 on Friday. Having soared to a lofty 52 points in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Harvest-Westminster ended up a good deal behind Alden-Hebron on Friday and lost 37-20.

River Ridge has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Harvest-Westminster, their loss dropped their record down to 0-6.
