Basketball Game Preview: Groves Rebels vs. Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets

Groves hasn't had much luck against Southeast Bulloch recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Groves Rebels will face off against the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets at 4:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Groves is likely headed into the match with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Liberty County on Friday. Groves took a hard 58-41 fall against Liberty County. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Southeast Bulloch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 57-22 loss at the hands of Windsor Forest.

Southeast Bulloch's loss dropped their record down to 0-16. As for Groves, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-10.

Everything came up roses for Groves against Southeast Bulloch in their previous matchup back in January, as the squad secured a 56-26 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Groves since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
