McCollum waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They came out on top against the Harlandale Indians by a score of 3-1. That's the fourth time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 3-0 win back in September.

McCollum had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The final score came out to 20-25, 25-12, 25-23, 25-10.

Brooke Romo paced McCollum's offense, picking up 20 kills. Romo got some help from Ariannah Soto and her 20 assists. Arianna Sanchez and Caitlyn Hines kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

McCollum's record is now 28-7. As for Harlandale, they now have a losing record of 16-17.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. McCollum will welcome Winn at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cowboys are facing the Mavericks at the right time seeing as the Mavericks are stuck on an 11-game losing streak. As for Harlandale, they will host Southwest at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
