Weir has gone 6-1 against The Linsly School recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Red Riders will welcome the Cadets at 6:00 p.m. The Linsly School took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Weir, who comes in off a win.

The Linsly School better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if Weir's game on Monday is any indication, that's when Weir really gets things going. The Red Riders never let Cambridge get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. Madelyn Cramer was a massive factor in the win as she booted in three goals all by herself.

Meanwhile, The Linsly School was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against Steubenville, falling 6-0. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as The Linsly School came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 49th in West Virginia, while Steubenville are ranked 146th in Ohio).

The victory made it two in a row for Weir and bumps their season record up to 6-7-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up zero goals over those two contests. As for The Linsly School, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Weir took their victory against The Linsly School when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 6-0 score. Will the Red Riders repeat their success, or do the Cadets have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
