Basketball Recap: Yahir Pizarro Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Alameda

Arrupe Jesuit won the last time they faced Alameda and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Arrupe Jesuit Generals came out on top against the Alameda Pirates by a score of 57-45.

Arrupe Jesuit's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Yahir Pizarro, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds. Louie Garcia was another key player, putting up ten points and five boards.

Alameda lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Eduardo Cantillo, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds. Tomas Martinez also deserves some recognition as he grabbed his first steal of the season.

Arrupe Jesuit's record is now 12-5. As for Alameda, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11.
