Basketball Recap: Thursday's Win Is Dyersburg's Sixth in Last Seven Outings

Dyersburg won the last time they faced Westview and things went their way on Thursday too. The Dyersburg Trojans narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Westview Chargers 69-66.

Dyersburg is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points per game. As for Westview, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Dyersburg will venture away from home to take on Obion County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Obion County knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Dyersburg likes a good challenge. As for Westview, they will head out on the road to face off against Milan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
