Acadiana Christian won the last time they faced NELA Christian Homeschool and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lions blew past the Flame 3-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Kennedi Broussard paced Acadiana Christian's offense, picking up 17 kills. Broussard got some help from Yvette Olivier and her 24 assists. Broussard also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Jazmyn James, racking up two apiece.

Annaleigh Clark and Kailyn Whorton certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Clark had 14 digs and 11 assists, while Whorton had 12 digs.

Acadiana Christian's win bumped their record up to 3-0-1. As for NELA Christian Homeschool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Acadiana Christian is set to challenge their familiar foe Christian Academy of Louisiana at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, NELA Christian Homeschool will square off against rival John Paul the Great Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
