Volleyball Recap: Cabrillo Takes a Loss

Cabrillo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Millikan Rams, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

Cabrillo was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-12, 25-19.

Cabrillo's record is now 4-11. As for Millikan, their victory ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-11.

Coming up, Cabrillo will square off against Compton at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Jaguars are facing the Tarbabes at the right time seeing as the Tarbabes are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. Millikan has already played their next match (against Long Beach Poly), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
