Basketball Recap: Spotsylvania Takes a Loss

Spotsylvania was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They fell 52-43 to the Eastern View Cyclones. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Knights this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 40-27 back in January.

Spotsylvania's defeat dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Eastern View, their victory ended an 11-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-13.

Spotsylvania won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mechanicsville at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Spotsylvania has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Eastern View, they will host King George at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Eastern View is facing King George at the right time seeing as King George is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
