Baseball Recap: Webster City's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Humboldt, Webster City was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Boone Toreadors, sneaking past 6-5. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Lynx as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Webster City's win bumped their record up to 7-12-1. As for Boone, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-6.

Webster City has already played their next contest, a 9-4 loss against Saydel on the 21st. As for Boone, they will square off against Carroll at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
