Basketball Recap: Waskom Takes a Loss

Waskom suffered their closest defeat since February 2, 2024 on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Elysian Fields Yellowjackets by a score of 63-60. The Wildcats were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Yellowjackets earlier this season, when they won 57-53.

Brandon Kennedy continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Elysian Fields, putting up 43 points. The game was Kennedy's 15th in a row with at least 16 points. Another player making a difference was Brody Parker, who posted seven points.

Waskom has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 12-17 record this season. As for Elysian Fields, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-17.

As of now, neither Waskom nor Elysian Fields have any future games scheduled.
