Baseball Recap: Oakland Comes Up Short

Oakland was the 6-3 winner over Hendersonville when they last played one another back in April of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Oakland Patriots fell 6-1 to the Hendersonville Commandos on Wednesday. The Patriots have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oakland saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Pack, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI.

Oakland's record is now 3-3-1. As for Hendersonville, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakland will be taking part in a tournament against Dickson County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hendersonville, they will square off against Ensworth at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Ensworth will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hendersonville surely won't give up without a fight.
