Soccer Game Preview: Granger vs. Providence Hall

The Granger Lancers will venture away from home to take on the Providence Hall Patriots at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Granger will be strutting in after a victory while Providence Hall will be coming in after a defeat.

Granger barely beat Juan Diego Catholic the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Granger put the hurt on Juan Diego Catholic with a sharp 5-1 win on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, after soaring to four goals the game before, Providence Hall was a bit more limited in their matchup on Monday. They came up short against Mountain View, falling 6-0.

The victory got Granger back to even at 2-2. As for Providence Hall, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

Everything went Granger's way against Providence Hall in their previous meeting back in March of 2015, as Granger made off with an 8-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Granger since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
