Crawford County is 1-9 against Mitchell since April of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Wolfpack will head out to challenge the Bluejackets at 5:00 p.m. Crawford County is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
Crawford County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 20 runs on Friday, they were much more limited against Corydon Central on Monday. They lost 10-0 to the Panthers. The game marked the first time this year in which the Wolfpack were not able to get on the board.
Meanwhile, Mitchell entered their tilt with Eastern Greene on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They beat the Thunderbirds by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 25-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win the Bluejackets have posted against the Thunderbirds since April 17, 2018.
The victory got Mitchell back to even at 5-5. As for Crawford County, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
