Football Recap: Spoto Starts off Right with Win over Davenport + How To Watch

Spoto took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They walked away with a 43-35 win over the Davenport Broncos. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2024.

Spoto's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jesse Harden, who picked up 110 receiving yards and four TDs. The Spartans also got a significant boost from Alando Riggins, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 165 yards.

Spoto was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 277 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Coming up, Spoto will head out to take on Lennard at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Davenport, they will be defending their home field for the first time this season when they go up against Gainesville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
