Volleyball Recap: Irvington Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The home team had come away the winner the last six times Irvington and Moreau Catholic had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Vikings took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mariners on Tuesday. The Vikings have struggled against the Mariners recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

The match finished with set scores of 25-11, 25-14, 22-25, 25-13.

Irvington's record now sits at 4-14. As for Moreau Catholic, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-17.

Irvington wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Mission San Jose on the 23rd. As for Moreau Catholic, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against James Logan on the 23rd.
