Basketball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Seton Catholic

Seton Catholic won the last time they faced Union City and things went their way on Thursday too. The Seton Catholic Cardinals enjoyed a cozy 63-44 win over the Union City Indians. The victory was nothing new for the Cardinals as they're now sitting on three straight.

Seton Catholic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jason Moynihan, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten boards. Moynihan's evening made it five games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Feist, who went 6 for 12 on his way to 15 points along with five rebounds and five blocks.

Seton Catholic's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-10. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.7 points per game. As for Union City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Seton Catholic will head out to challenge Daleville at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Union City, they are taking a road trip to square off against Cowan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
