Baseball Recap: Vista PEAK Prep Comes Up Short

Vista PEAK Prep fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Eaglecrest on Saturday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 13-10 to the Raptors. The defeat continues a trend for the Bison in their meetings with the Raptors: they've now lost four in a row.

Brody Brancato made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-5 with four RBI and one triple. Ezra Wise was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

Vista PEAK Prep's loss dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Eaglecrest, their win bumped their record up to 3-5.

Coming up, Vista PEAK Prep will challenge Grandview at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Grandview will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Vista PEAK Prep surely won't give up without a fight. As for Eaglecrest, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Northfield at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
