Softball Recap: Burroughs Takes a Loss

Burroughs was the 6-2 winner over Dos Pueblos when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Bears fell 10-6 to the Chargers on Saturday.

Burroughs saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kalani Miramontes, who fired off two home runs and five RBI while going 3-for-4. Another was Alyssa Morales, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Burroughs' loss dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Dos Pueblos, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-7.

Burroughs wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 4-0 victory against San Marcos on the 5th. As for Dos Pueblos, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 5-3 defeat against Saugus on the 5th.
