Volleyball Recap: Grant Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Grant entered their tilt with Ithaca on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Yellowjackets by a score of 2-0.

Shoemaker Payton paced Grant's offense, picking up five kills. Payton got some help from Campbell Lauryn and her nine assists. Bouwkamp Payton and McGowen Chloe kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Grant's victory bumped their record up to 11-7. As for Ithaca, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-11-1.

Grant wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Hastings on the 20th. As for Ithaca, they are taking a road trip to square off against Hemlock at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
