Basketball Game Preview: Williamsport Millionaires vs. State College Little Lions

The Williamsport Millionaires will head out to challenge the State College Little Lions at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Williamsport is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 74 points last Friday, they were much more limited against Mamaroneck on Saturday. They took a blow against the Tigers, falling 58-26. The contest marked the Millionaires' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Meanwhile, State College lost to Chambersburg on the road by a 61-43 margin on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Little Lions in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now lost three in a row.

Williamsport's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for State College, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Williamsport might still be hurting after the 61-37 defeat they got from State College when the teams last played back in January of 2024.
