Basketball Recap: Skagway's Run of Four Straight Wins Now Over

After some red-hot attacks on offense in their last four contests, Skagway finally came back down to earth on Thursday. They lost 47-26 to the Klawock Chieftains. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Skagway moved to 13-5 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.8 points. As for Klawock, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-7.

Skagway wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 39-28 victory against Angoon on the 28th. As for Klawock, they have also already played their next match, a 56-40 loss against Kake on the 28th.
