Despite the loss, University got top-tier performance from London Smith, who picked up 183 receiving yards and a touchdown.

University didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Armani Franklin and Jeremiah Green. Another thorn in Rudder's side was Joaquin Martinez, who picked up a sack and made 13 total tackles (3.0 for loss).
