Football Recap: Bishop Brossart Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Bishop Brossart lost against Sayre back in October of 2020, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs fell just short of the Spartans by a score of 8-5.

Landon Spaulding threw for 133 yards on 14 of 24 attempts. On the ground, Anthony Schuck rushed for 31 yards.

Bishop Brossart's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Sayre, they pushed their record up to 1-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Bishop Brossart will face off against St. Henry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sayre, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Williamsburg at 7:30 p.m. on September 12.
