Basketball Recap: London Continues Road Dominance on Friday

London entered their tilt with Odem on Friday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Odem Owls with a sharp 60-37 victory. For the Pirates, this counts as revenge for the 45-41 win the Owls walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2015.

Leading London to victory were Aiden Salinas and Ac Carpentier. Salinas went 8 for 13 on his way to 20 points, while Carpentier almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten assists. The contest was Salinas' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jackson Newton, who posted eight points and six rebounds.

London's victory was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-5. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Odem, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-9.

Coincidentally, London and Odem will both be playing West Oso the next time they take the court. Odem will host West Oso at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while London will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on January 17th.
