            Volleyball Recap: University Trojans vs. Pacifica Christian Tritons        
        
		
        
        
            University was the  2-0 winner over Pacifica Christian when they last played one another  back in August, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans fell  3-1 to the Tritons on Tuesday. The Trojans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 University started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 20-25, 25-22, 25-20,  25-21.
 Pacifica Christian had a senior duo take command as  Addie Roberson  had 17  digs, three  aces,  and one  block and  Emery Heal  had 22  digs and two  aces. Roberson also set a new season-high mark in assists with 24.
University's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Pacifica Christian, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record  this season.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. University will welcome Capistrano Valley  at 5:15  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Pacifica Christian, they will look to defend their home court  on Friday against Costa Mesa  at 6:30  p.m.
