Falconer extended their winning streak to three on Tuesday, bumping their season record up to 3-0 in the process. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Chautauqua Lake Eagles 4-2. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Having lost for the first time this season, Chautauqua Lake fell to 2-1. Having soared to a lofty 16 runs in the game before, they couldn't push the score so high this time.

For Chautauqua Lake's part, Cayzlee Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits and racked up 12 Ks. Johnson has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up a single earned run any time she's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, Chautauqua Lake saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kinslee Motter, who went 1-for-3 with one double.
