Softball Preview: Century Diamondbacks vs. Bonneville Bees
Century hasn't had much luck against Bonneville recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Diamondbacks will face off against the Bees at 3:30 p.m. Bonneville took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Century, who comes in off a win.

The Diamondbacks beat the Spartans on Thursday by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 11-1. The victory continues a trend for the Diamondbacks in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won eight in a row.
Century let Tessica Ramirez and Lyndsee Ferguson run wild. Ramirez went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one double, while Ferguson scored a run and stole a base while going 4-for-4. Alyvia Rudd made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Mckynlie Cook, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one RBI.
Bonneville's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Century, the win got them back to even at 6-6.
The batters for both teams will have to hit smart on Monday as both have some strikeout artists on the roster. Century has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 9.6 strikeouts per game. However, it's not like Bonneville struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8 strikeouts. Considering how easily both teams rack up Ks, the hitters on both teams better bring their A-game into this one.
