Softball Recap: Cholla Comes Up Short

Cholla fell victim to Douglas and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 14-0 to the Bulldogs. Having soared to a lofty 21 runs in the game before, the Chargers' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Cholla's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Douglas, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-6 record this season.

Douglas will face off against Eastmark at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. Cholla will be paying especially close attention to the Bulldogs' match: after the Bulldogs face off against the Firebirds, they'll take on Cholla again at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
