Volleyball Game Preview: Pass Christian Pirates vs. Long Beach Bearcats + How To Watch

Pass Christian hasn't had much luck against Long Beach recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Pirates are taking a road trip to challenge the Bearcats at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Pass Christian comes in on six and Long Beach on four.

On Monday, Pass Christian got the win against Greene County by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, Long Beach made easy work of Picayune on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Long Beach was: they took every set by at least ten points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-15, 25-11.

Long Beach's win came from a few key players Pass Christian will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Addison Peterson, who had 17 assists and two aces. What's more, she posted two digs, the most she's had over her last three matchups.

Long Beach's victory bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Pass Christian, their win bumped their record up to 11-8.

Pass Christian beat Long Beach 3-1 in their previous matchup back in August. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
