Basketball Recap: Roosevelt Sets Scoring Season-High Against West 50th Street

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roosevelt). They came out on top against the West 50th Street Seahawks by a score of 64-55 on Monday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for Roosevelt considering their 25-point performance the match before.

Roosevelt's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.5 points per game. As for West 50th Street, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

Roosevelt has already played their next game (against Washington), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. West 50th Street will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Democracy Prep at 4:30 p.m. on January 23rd.
