Volleyball Recap: Kodiak Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Kodiak lost against Soldotna on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bears came up short against the Stars, falling 3-0. The Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-17, 25-14.

Maggie Hubert paced Kodiak's offense, picking up nine kills. Hubert were helped by Ava Dela Cruz and Fremela Garcia, who contributed nine assists each.

Kodiak's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7-2. As for Soldotna, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 9-3.

Kodiak has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Wasilla on the 12th. As for Soldotna, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Homer on the 9th.
