Walker Valley has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Lenoir City Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Walker Valley is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering McMinn County just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They were dealt a 37-6 loss at the hands of the Cherokees. That makes it the first time this season the Mustangs have let down their home crowd.

Meanwhile, after only seven points in their last contest, Lenoir City made sure to put some points up on the board against Karns on Friday. Lenoir City blew past Karns, posting a 37-6 win. The Panthers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Luke Chadwick had a dynamite game for Lenoir City, rushing for 51 yards and three touchdowns on only seven carries.

Walker Valley's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 7-3. As for Lenoir City, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-4.
