Baseball Recap: Badger/Greenbush-Middle River Finds Home Field Redemption Against Mahnomen/Waubun

There's no place like home for Badger/Greenbush-Middle River, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mahnomen/Waubun Thunderbirds 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Gators have posted since April 9, 2024.

Payton Gust was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and one double. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jude Vacura, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
