Softball Recap: Central Heights Takes a Loss

Central Heights fell victim to Gatesville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They fell just short of the Gatesville Hornets by a score of 1-0. The loss was the Blue Devils' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Central Heights fell to 2-1-1. As for Gatesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3-1 record this season.

Central Heights didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 4-1 defeat against Lorena on the 27th. As for Gatesville, they have also already played their next match, a 5-4 loss against Franklin on the 1st.
