Volleyball Recap: Catholic - N.I.'s Victory on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Six

Catholic - N.I. extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping them up to 19-12. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Houma Christian Warriors. That's more bragging rights for the Panthers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Amelie Trappey paced Catholic - N.I.'s offense, picking up 15 kills. Trappey got some help from MacKenzie Batiste and her 19 assists. Addisyn Derouen controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

As for Houma Christian, their defeat ended a six-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-8. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since September 27th.

Despite the loss, Houma Christian still got an impressive performance from Addison Billiot, who had nine digs and two assists.

Catholic - N.I. wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Patterson on the 15th. As for Houma Christian, they will take on West St. Mary at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
