Volleyball Game Preview: Piedmont Community Charter Patriots vs. Carolina International Comets

Piedmont Community Charter is a perfect 10-0 against Carolina International since October of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Patriots will host the Comets at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Wednesday, Piedmont Community Charter got the win against NCSSM: Morganton by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-14, 25-12, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Carolina International had to endure a seven-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Bonnie Cone Leadership Academy on Tuesday.

Carolina International had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-21, 25-11, 25-19.

Piedmont Community Charter's victory bumped their record up to 14-4. As for Carolina International, their win bumped their record up to 4-14.

Everything went Piedmont Community Charter's way against Carolina International in their previous meeting back in September, as Piedmont Community Charter made off with a 3-0 victory.
