Hazelwood West typically has all the answers at home, but on Wednesday Parkway West proved too difficult a challenge. They walked away with a 48-41 win over the Hazelwood West Wildcats. The victory was familiar territory for the Longhorns who have now won four games in a row.

Despite the loss, Hazelwood West still got an impressive performance from Jamiah Herring-Green, who went 7 of 16 en route to 28 points along with six boards and four steals. Herring-Green's evening made it three games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zayniyah Jackson, who posted eight points and four steals.

Parkway West's win bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Hazelwood West, their defeat ended a ten-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 10-5.

Parkway West will host Pattonville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Hazelwood West, they will take on St. Joseph's Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
