Niagara Falls barely beat Starpoint the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wolverines' pitchers stepped up to hand the Spartans an 11-0 shutout on Saturday. The result was nothing new for the Wolverines, who have now won 12 games by six runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was Niagara Falls' 11th in a row) raised their record to 14-1. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Starpoint, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-11.

Niagara Falls wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, an 8-7 loss against Williamsville South on the 17th. Starpoint does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
