Recap: Heritage Christian Eagles vs. Longview Christian
The Heritage Christian Eagles's game last Tuesday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They strolled past Longview Christian with points to spare, taking the game 46-30. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Heritage Christian also won the last time the pair played back in January.
When it comes to explaining why Longview Christian lost, one person who can't be blamed is Oscar Adame. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds. Adame hasn't dropped below two steals for nine straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Ikey Diffie, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 11 rebounds.
Heritage Christian's victory ended a seven-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-6. As for Longview Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-12.
Heritage Christian will head out on the road to challenge Poetry Community Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Longview Christian, they will challenge Greenville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Longview Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Tuesday.
