Halls waltzed into their contest on Saturday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Lakeway Christian Academy Lions a 2-0 shutout. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Red Devils also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Halls saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Harper Bales, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Halls' win bumped their record up to 22-4-1. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Halls will take on Green Hill in a tournament on Saturday. As for Lakeway Christian Academy, they will challenge Gibbs at 6:20 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Lions 1.8, the Eagles 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned.
