Volleyball Recap: Iona Prep Extends Winning Streak to Nine

Iona Prep had won eight straight games dating back to last season and Jacob Chiu did his part to make it nine on Tuesday. Iona Prep walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Regis Raiders for which the team can thank Chiu, who had 16 digs and two aces. Those 16 digs gave him a new career-high.

The win didn't come easy: Regis scored at least 19 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-21, 21-25, 25-19.

Iona Prep pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season.
