Baseball Recap: Sharpstown Takes a Loss

Sharpstown fell victim to Waltrip and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Rams, falling 17-0. The defeat leaves the Apollos still looking for their first win of the season.

Sharpstown's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Waltrip, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Sharpstown will square off against Carnegie Vanguard at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Waltrip, they will challenge Galena Park at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Galena Park will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Waltrip surely won't give up without a fight.
