Softball Game Preview: Independence Mustangs vs. Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers

The Independence Mustangs will face off against the Center Point-Urbana Stormin' Pointers at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Independence didn't have quite enough to beat Benton and fell 7-6. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Center Point-Urbana had taken Mt. Vernon down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Monday. The Stormin' Pointers fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 6-4.

Center Point-Urbana's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Independence, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
